Why we started Auxy

We started Auxy because we were tired of seeing complicated tools get in the way of people’s creativity. We wanted to build music tools for artists, not engineers.

Since 2014, we’ve been making Auxy Studio, a loop-based music app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It’s praised for being easy to learn while offering surprising depth when you need it. People use it to sketch ideas, make complete albums, and everything in between. The app received an Apple Design Award in 2017.

In 2026, we announced our first hardware product: the Svensson 49 keyboard. It’s the next step in our effort to make music creation more joyful and creative.
